This collection does have some great anthems, but they're the kind of tunes that anyone who's given even a cursory listen to Christian pop radio in the 90s or 00s has heard dozens of times by now. It's hard not to see this release as the result of a zeal on the part of the Wow organization to reduce contemporary Christian music to the sort of bite-sized, sales-driven, best of the best mentality that fuels so much of secular consumer culture. For the most part, the result is a blanched and overproduced mess: very little of the music remotely urban or exciting, almost all of it overly sentimental. Rather than a hearty meal, it's like eating a cake made entirely of frosting. Many if not most of the artists themselves are talented, of course, and if even one more listener can get turned on to the highly personal rock of Rich Mullins or the sublime, beyond-diva-level vocalizings of Nicole C. Mullen, that's never a bad thing. --Mike McGonigal a little too didactic I was grooving on some of the bass lines and groovy riffs, but there seemed to be some didactic religious overtones that kept coming up. If that's your thing then great, get this one! If not, maybe get it then sell it on e-bay. Track 6 kills me though. That track alone makes this album. All-in-all, I would say that, "yes" this cd does contain 31 of the greatest Christian Music hits of all time.

If you're agnostic, Jewish, or a Muslim, I recommend something else. Otherwise, do a little personal tithing and get this one for the collection!

J.C.H.C. In Christ Alone! Let me start off by saying that the entire compilation was worth it, there are some very great performances on these CD's, and it's great to have my favorite songs featuring Avalon, Rachael Lampa, and others on a two disc set. I loved it, but what really stood out to me was this one song by Brian Littrell (who's already a platinum selling mega-star member of: The Backstreet Boys, no less) I absolutely enjoyed his soulful voice, the earnest plea and praise he offered to God in this song. I never expected to hear this side of him, simply amazing. Very good CD A good sampling of music with a lot of variety. These CDs are great. There are only two songs that a actually do not like. Of the rest, all but a few songs are really good. A few songs that stand out are:

Disc 1
"Dive" by Steven Curtis Chapman: A really good song. Fast beat.
"Place in This World" by Michael W. Smith: A good song with a good message.
"In Christ Alone" by Brian Littrell: Kind of slow, but a very good message.
"I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me: A really good song with a very good message. I have heard two testimonies about how this song influenced someone to become a Christian.

Disc 2
"Flood" by Jars of Clay: A little slow at first, but the pace picks up to make a fast paced song. Pretty good.
"Jesus Freak" by DC Talk: My personal favorite on the CD. A fast paced song with a good message about not being ashamed about Christ.
"Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer: One of the two that I don't like on this CD. It is a love song that starts out with, "Kiss me. Baby..." and that is the farthest I have listened.
"Stomp" by God's Property: The other song that I dislike. It is gospel and I am not a fan of gospel.
"Big House" by Audio Adrenaline: A good song. The writer must like football: "A big, big house, with lots and lots of rooms. A big, big table, with lots and lots of food. A big, big yard, where we can play football...."!

Overall, this is a very good CD with a good variety. Definitely worth multiple listenings. I definitely recommend this CD. Listen and enjoy.

Glenn Miller - Greatest Hits
Glenn Miller - Greatest Hits
Glenn Miller - Greatest Hits Artist: Glenn Miller His Orchestra (Usually ships in 24 hours) Wonderful CD - classic sound Even though I did not grow up in the 'greatest generation', I have developed a love for the music that flourished during the era. This is a fantastic CD; selections range from the bright, cheerful "In the Mood", to the mellow, romantic "Moonlight Serenade". The CD does not seem to have been cleaned up; the music has the 'pop and crackle' distinctive to vinyl albums. Some may object, but I find the effect charmingly nostalgic. Timeless This is a must have CD for anyone who enjoys swing. The recording quality is good and it includes Glenn's most popular tunes. It's the CD I choose for relaxing or chasing away the blues. Glenn's timeless! An awesome CD A great CD. With great songs. Especially "In the Mood" which is such a classic song. I think Glenn Miller is one of the best. I was truly disappointed in this purchase. Not only is the quality bad, but I didn't really care for some of the selections. The song did not feel like they flowed together at all. But I do need to say, that MobHits 1 was great and I highly recommend that purchase! Bad try If you are expecting anything close to the first album , forget it. Sound is poor, selection so so . But that would sell Incubus short, because Make Yourself, the quintet's sophomore album, is a strong progression beyond their 1997 debut, S.C.I.E.N.C.E.. More like Faith No More than Limp Bizkit, Incubus still have that teen-mosh appeal, though the songwriting and instrumentation on Make Yourself is diverse and thoughtful, both lyrically and musically. "Drive" is an easygoing, slightly trippy acoustic-based outing, while oddball scratching (courtesy of DJ Chris Kilmore) and trip-hop funkiness make "Battlestar Scralatchtica" aptly titled. "Nowhere Fast" is vaguely 311-ish with a reggae tinge and lovely melodic interludes, in contrast to the furious intensity of "Out from Under," which gives Make Yourself a surprisingly cohesive diversity that's hard to categorize. Ultimately, singer Brandon Boyd is not a vocal genius, but lyrically and in performance, he's sensitive, charismatic, and unique. Ditto for the 13 cuts that make up Make Yourself. --Katherine Turman incubus' awesomeness OK first of all I'm new to Incubus but falling in love by every new song I hear. There are five songs on this album that I absolutely love and I hopefully will never get sick of hearing them ever. Stellar, Make Yourself, Drive, I Miss You and Pardon me are not only some of the best songs on this album but Drive, Make Yourself and Stellar are some of my favourite songs ever. Which is saying a lot because Pink Floyd and Zeppelin are some of my favourite bands. But if your new to Incubus like we all were at one point, a song to listen to would be Drive which is probably a song that most defines Incubus by its lyrically driven songs and awesome rhythm and flow.
But If You Really Want To Live.. Why not try and Make Yourself? That's the question Brandon gives his audience on the title track. Incubus has never ceased to amaze me. I love all of their releases, i even have a large place in my heart for Fungus Amongus. This cd is no exception, it is every bit as good as their other cd's. I have still yet to decide which one of their albums is my favorite, mostly depends on my mood. Make Yourself takes the S.C.I.E.N.C.E. quirky funk side and blends it with their next cd Morning View, and has a little dab of something different.

1.Privilege 10/10...A fun funky opener, and i love the guitar, one of my favorites from the beginning.
2.Nowhere Fast 9/10...Another heavier song with a great intro. The chorus is great, good song.
3.Consequence 9/10...Consequence follows suit with the previous, another average rocker that is somehow not lost in the shuffle and making itself (no pun intended) a great song.
4.The Warmth 10/10...Another one of my favorites. A much darker softer song, but it's so great and has great lyrics, a classic.
5.When It Comes 9/10...Basically falls in with 2 and 3, another rocker that is great.
6.Stellar 8.5/10...I was never a huge fan of this song, but it has definitely grown on me. I love the soft verses and how the chorus kicks in out of nowhere.
7.Make Yourself 10/10...Wow. The beginning sounds like a lostprophets song for some reason but that's where the similarites end. This is one of Incubus' more in your face songs and it is so good. Very rockin' and simply put good.
8.Drive 8/10...After approximately 9 million listens i'm still not sick of this song. Although on first listen the rating would be much higher but probably Incubus' biggest hit until they die.
9.Clean 10/10...One of my all time favorite Incubus songs. The bongos in the beginning serve as a nice intro. This is one of the heavier ones on the album and the chorus is one of my favorites.
10.Battlestar Scratchlactica 8/10...A turntable instrumental that is actually pretty cool. I sometimes skip it but it's alot of fun and reminds me of something that would be off of S.C.I.E.N.C.E.
11.I Miss You 9/10...A great heart felt ballad with insanely affectionate lyrics. Tremendous song.
12.Pardon Me 9/10...Once again, after many many listens i'm still not sick of it. One of Incubus' best hits, great song.
13.Out From Under 8.5/10...One of their heaviest and an interesting way to end it all. A pretty good song although the verses are a tad annoying, the ending is great.

Just like all their releases this is a must have and a definite fan favorite for good reason. I highly recommend.
my fave incubus album this i think is there best album as good as SCIENCE was i think this one is more mature and is better crafted and put together shows the growth of the band i think they are going to continue to get better they have good vocals and they seem to of changed there image they are trully devloping into one of the best bands of this decade

Run DMC - Forever Kings
Run DMC - Forever Kings
Run DMC - Forever Kings Manufacturer: Azure (Usually ships in 24 hours) Click Here for more information one star is way too much What a load of CRAP!!!
Some shmuck puts a few still photos together and tells the story of run-dmc, not a good version of it, and videotapes interviews with a few select fans. Contains some of the best songs of 2005! Most NOW compilations are hit and miss affairs (more often miss than hit), but NOW 19 has the distinction of having four of the best songs of 2005, regardless of your taste in music. Obviously, "Hollaback Girl" was unavoidable in 2005, and it had the added benefit of teaching everyone how to spell "Bananas." The second song of note was "1 Thing" by Amerie. Rich Harrison sampled the most amazing drum break of the year from The Meters and it elevated this song above so much other RB. John Legend's "Ordinary People" was excellent in its simple piano and real life lyrics about relationships. And finally, the song of the year, whether you're tired of it or not, had to be "Feel Good, Inc." by the Gorillaz. It combined so many different elements into absolute musical perfection. These four songs, plus a few good others, make NOW 19 an essential purchase for anyone trying to feel the pulse of music in 2005. If you're planning on buying this for Hollaback Girl, be warned! (I don't normally go for short reviews, but not a lot needs to be said here.)

Working in a record store, I have the luxury of being able to hear all kinds of music, from all kinds of different genres. This is an excellent thing, in that it enables me to broaden my musical horizons. One day, we listened to this CD. These Now CDs usually have nothing but the worst popular music around. But after looking at the tracklist, I saw that Hollaback Girl was on the CD. Ah, some redeeming value.

Not quite.

Hollaback Girl is the EDITED version. NOWHERE ON THE PACKAGING IS THIS STATED.

My point here is simple. If you're thinking about buying this CD for that one song, DON'T! The fact that all the other songs (with the exception of Will Smith's composition) suck doesn't help things either. This whole "alteration with no disclaimer" thing has to end.

Final verdict? Steer clear.

Queen - Greatest Hits
Queen - Greatest Hits
Queen - Greatest Hits Artist: Queen (Usually ships in 24 hours) Click Here for more information Queen brought a whole new meaning to the phrase over the top. While rock roll flamboyance stretched back at least as far as Little Richard, Freddie Mercury continued to camp it up, taking little seriously and smirking at the music's growing pretensions while partaking in them no small bit. Many of the band's singles hold up extremely well, such as "Killer Queen" and "You're My Best Friend". The quartet's canny sense of melody and sophisticated vocal harmonies--not to mention Mercury's raised eyebrow--have traveled well through the years. --Rickey Wright Highly Recommended Excellent choice for Queen fans; a compilation of some of the best there is. Awesome trip down memory lane This album is great! It contains some of the more obscure hits from Queen as well as the popular ones. The only thing missing is Bohemian Rhapsody. Not quite all the hits, but it's a start! With the greatest hits album of "Queen", we don't have all the hits, for a band of their magnitude of success has to eventually release a dual CD set (which they did) that can cover all the ground. Before that though, we had "Classic Queen" and "Queens Greatest hits".

Greatest hits gives the fans the arena stomping anthems "We will rock you" "We are the champions" and "Another one bites the dust" which have been embraced by sports teams, players, and gym and stadium soundsets everywhere. The soothing song "You make me live" is on here, with vocalist Freddie Mercury in prime form. Fun, funny and catchy pop songs like "Fat Bottomed Girls" and "Bicycle race" grace the track listing as well. There are lesser known, non radio played songs like "Now I'm here" "Play the game" and "Seven seas of rhye" that we get to explore. The 17 track album rounds out with the powerful, uplifting song of "I want to break free". It's not all of the greatest hits, but considering how many this band really had, you can't put them all on one album. This however, was a great start to help celebrate one of the greatest bands of the past 50 years, whose music I never tire of listening to.

Off the Charts: The Song-Poem Story
Off the Charts: The Song-Poem Story
Off the Charts: The Song-Poem Story Manufacturer: Shout Factory (Usually ships in 24 hours) Click Here for more information In his wildest satirical dreams, not even Christopher Guest could top Off the Charts for sheer folk-art eccentricity. And yet, the creator of A Mighty Wind would find comedic inspiration in Jamie Meltzer's hilarious and sincerely affectionate tribute to the subcultural phenomenon known as the song poem. For over 50 years, a small, strictly amateur music industry has thrived on the fine-print ads that appear in alternative newspapers and music-industry magazines, inviting would-be songsmiths to send in their lyrics (and perhaps even "earn royalties") when their songs--and we use that term loosely--are set to music, recorded by seasoned musicians, and returned to their creators as a kind of one-shot fantasy fulfillment of dreams that will never come true. What drives Meltzer's film is a uniquely American combination of pathos, fringe-dwelling ambition, and free expression by assorted misfits and "regular folk" who seek elusive immortality by turning their lyrical musings into trash-art that's simultaneously fascinating and pathetic. But despite the end-credit claim that not a single hit has resulted from the estimated 200,000 song poems that have been recorded over the decades, Meltzer's not out to ridicule these wonderfully ungifted artists. Instead, Off the Charts gives a memorable spin to the flipside of the American dream. --Jeff Shannon Really, it is "Non-Violent Taekwondo Troopers" is perhaps the greatest pop song ever recorded, better even than "In My Life", "What You Do to Me", "Lexicon Devil", or " Be My Baby". Caglar Juan Singletary (and Art Kaufman) have given something of real beauty to the world. Sublime. Caglar Is King I am on a list that has been raving about this film- so I bought it even though I didn;t think it would be the kind of movie I would like.

They were right, I was wrong.

This movie is awesome- and the main reason is C-A-G-L-A-R! His songs are very cool- and he is very cool too. I didn't much like the rest of the song poets, however I liked all the guys who wrote and sang the music.

I don't know what all the hoopla is over Gene Marino. I think it's admirable he put such effort into these little songpoems. He sure didn't have too.

There is also not much I can say about Garry Forney. He kind of exemplifies why people like me had such a bad impression of the industry and why I didn't think I'd like it. [...]

But I guess the ends justify the means, because I really like this movie. Especially you know who! "Thank Jehovah for Kung Fu Bicycles and Priscilla Presley" Have you ever heard of Caglar Juan Singletary (the man behind the song `Non-Violent Taekwondo Troopers')? No? How about Nilson V. Ortiz (The Thing), or Gary Forney (Chicken Insurrection)? Probably not...should you know these individuals? Not unless you're kin...so why am I bringing them up? Well, I think many of us have seen the tiny, little ads in magazines (usually in the back), tabloids, or comic books that entice readers to send in poems and have them translated into songs, with the inference of possibly entering the music business and/or reaping the accompanying rewards (be they in the form of recognition or financial, or both) only to dismiss them as scams and wonder just what kind of people fall for such foolishness? Well, the three I mentioned earlier are individuals who responded to such ads at one point or another, and have all had their words transmogrified into songs, for better or for worse...

In the documentary Off the Charts: The Song-Poem Story (2003), Jamie Meltzer allows us a glimpse behind those ads I mentioned previously, detailing not only those with aspirations of having their words transformed into songs, but also those craftsmen who take on the responsibility turning someone's dreams into a vinyl reality, for a price, of course...as the film begins, Meltzer examines this rather extensive subculture, focusing on a relatively small, eclectic group within the whole, specifically the more inspired (or demented, depending on your view) elements. How it actually works is you would send in your poem to the advertisement listed, and they would respond telling you they will take your poem and turn it into a professionally produced song, complete with singer and musical accompaniment. All you have to do is send in some cash...and it's usually not a meager sum, but then what price can you put on stardom? Once the cash was received, the work would begin, and a record produced, with a copy of going back to you.

While watching this documentary, I think what surprised me most was seeing the level of professionalism and seriousness displayed by the individuals or companies who turn these submissions into music. They weren't especially high tech, and usually worked alone out of their homes, but they didn't appear to be in the business of scamming or fleecing these people of their money (although I'm sure some are). They truly seemed interested in providing what they advertised, despite the quality of the material they often received, and believe me, there is a level of awfulness that goes beyond comprehension (this seems sort of an absurd aspect, to have accomplished musicians work with generally such amateurish material). There was a very creepy element about some of these individuals who submitted their works, but you won't be able to deny the sincerity in their desires. They didn't appear to have delusions about stardom, but only wished to hear their words in a format that could be enjoyed by others...and as creepy as some of these people may seem, they really can't compare to those who actually collect this material, those who scrounge, scavenge, and pontificate the virtues of said music...these guys probably scared me the most (probably because I could identify with them more than anyone else in the film). I think the part I liked the most was when we saw, in a split screen, the artist performing a song, and the person who wrote the poem hearing the song for the first time. It's funny how these original writers react to hearing the songs created from their words, especially when they get something not quite what they expected. The film closes with one individual, now that he has his words translated into to music, deciding it's time to take his music to the people, and he and his son go on tour (all of one stop...you gotta start somewhere).

The actual documentary lasts about an hour, and the rest is made up of a plethora of special features including a director and producer commentary track, Sunburst Studio sessions (featuring the recording of six songs), deleted scenes (7 in all), a feature called the Iowa Mountain Tour, Live!, `Off the Charts' premiere party, Columbine Records Presents `America Sing!'(a variety TV show featuring a number of songs), and a song-poem advertisement gallery with commentary. If you enjoy this, I would also recommend the book/CD combo Songs in the Key of Z: The Curious Universe of Outsider Music (I think someone already mentioned it), and another film titled Driver 23/Atlas Moth (2002), which doesn't so much pertain to `outsider' music, but is a great film about one mans dedication to his craft and the lengths to which he goes through in following his dreams.

Cookieman108

Greatest Love Songs
Greatest Love Songs
Greatest Love Songs Artist: Frank Sinatra (Usually ships in 24 hours) Click Here for more information The Sinatra who could more than convincingly offer that he had a crush on you is represented by this sweetly packaged 22-track collection. Culled mostly from the early Reprise years (with a four-cut sample of Capitol performances), Greatest Love Songs makes an airtight case for his work during the period. Often tender, occasionally enthusiastic, these selections skirt the bombast and self-parody the Chairman sometimes fell into on his own label. Popular classics like "Fly Me to the Moon" and "The Way You Look Tonight" are more than matched by keepers like the dramatically slowed Sinatra Strings version of "Night and Day," the swinging dare of "Let's Fall in Love," and the elegiac 1961 take of "I'm Getting Sentimental Over You." Save for the thud of a studio-engineered posthumous duet with Celine Dion--an insult both to Sinatra and one of the most delicate of his signature songs, "All the Way"--this is an exemplar of the Valentine-themed album. --Rickey Wright Greatest Love Songs This compilation is done very well. I like the song selections in the manner that are chosen, Especially "In the Blue of Evening", "Don't Take Your Love Away from Me","The Very Thought of You", "Come Rain or Come Shine", these are absolute gems.

The booklet inside quotes Frank in a lot of his beliefs, The pictures are great as well, This is a great introduction into Frank Sinatra's love songs.... not what I expected I didn't really feel like some of the songs were really love songs. A lot of these songs I had not even heard before. Musical Treasure Of A Lifetime With twenty-two greatest love songs of all-time interpreted by the greatest singing icon, the legendary, the one and only Mr. Frank Sinatra, you can never go wrong with this CD. It's a musical treasure of a lifetime.

To quote what was written on the liner notes, "Frank Sinatra believed that an artist is as good as his material, and he considered himself to be among the luckiest people in the world to have been able to make a career out of what he loved to do - to interpret wonderful music." Indeed, his material in this CD is so wonderful and very impressive, songs penned and composed by famous songwriters, the likes of Glenn Miller/Mitchell Parish's "Moonlight Serenade," Gershwin Brothers' I've Got A Crush On You," Cole Porter's "Night And Day," "What Is This Thing Called Love," "Easy To Love" and "In The Still Of The Night," Sammy Cahn/Jim Van Heusen's "All The Way," Harold Arlen/Johnny Mercer's "Come Rain Or Come Shine," Ray Noble's "The Very Thought Of You," Jerome Kern/Dorothy Fields' "The Way You Look Tonight," Richard Rodgers/Lorenz Hart's "My Funny Valentine," Ned Washington/George Bassman's "I'm Getting Sentimental Over You," to mention some of the nicest songs in this CD.

According to Frank Sinatra, "it takes a long time to heal a broken heart, he understands that playing one of his albums can help." I totally agree with him. One can just imagine the many wonders that music can do to us. Well, this is just one of his many bestseller CDs that I'd love to listen to. I could listen to Sinatra's music forever and enjoy every moment of it.

The most remarkable tracks for me are the ones that were arranged by Nelson Riddle ("Moonlight Serenade," "I've Got A Crush On You," "The Way You Look Tonight,""You Brought A New Kind Of Love To Me," "My Funny Valentine" and "Like Someone In Love"); Johnny Mandel ("Easy To Love," "You And The Night And The Music," "Let's Fall In Love," "In The Still Of The Night") ; Quincy Jones with Count Basie Orchestra ("Fly Me To The Moon") and Don Costa ("Night And Day" and "Come Rain Or Come Shine").

This CD is a collector's item. I highly recommended it and will be a wonderful addition to your Frank Sinatra collection.

2Pac - Greatest Hits
2Pac - Greatest Hits
2Pac - Greatest Hits Artist: 2Pac (Usually ships in 24 hours) Click Here for more information An indispensable and definitive collection showcasing the passionate genius of the late rapper. The album's nonchronological sequence highlights the contradictory impulses that made Tupac's music so commanding; the 21 well-loved "hits," some slightly reedited for legal reasons, are accompanied by four previously unheard songs. Of the new material, the raw-sounding "God Bless the Dead" has been the subject of the most speculation, owing to its subject matter: a eulogizing of the late Notorious B.I.G.--a mysterious feat, since Tupac was killed six months before Biggie. And, making its first proper appearance on a Tupac album, the B-side "Hit 'Em Up" stands as the most intense outburst of pure venomous rage ever captured on tape. Whether he's waxing political, philosophical, or just plain paranoid, Tupac's empathetic, charismatic style remains unmatched. --Charley Gothic Greatest Hits of Tupac Shakur Tupac. A hard to describe person.... lemme try anyways.
He was larger than life, unreal, yet the realest person alive.
He was mysterious and complicated, but so straightforward a person who knew exactly where he stood.
He was shy and sensitive, but at the same time, loud and angry.
He knew exactly what he wanted and he worked towards it in the short time that he was on the planet. This is a testimony to his work, sadly only reflecting the songs that made the most money rather than the songs that truly deserve to be on here. Fortunately, though, most of the songs on here are amazing anyways.

Disc One:
1. Keep Ya Head Up- 10/10: A powerful track that enlightens you and makes you respect women and see them in a new light every time you hear it.
2. 2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted- 10/10: With Snoop, one of my favorite rappers back in the day, this makes for a great collaboration.
3. Temptations- 7/10: Never was really a fan of this one.
4. God Bless The Dead- 8/10: Kind of creepy. He's eulogizing Biggie, who died six months after him....
5. Hail Mary- 10/10: This is one of my favorite Pac songs. The emotion on this song is unmatched, as he raps about evil, hatred, and corruption. The beat is pretty creepy.
6. Me Against the World- 10/10: Another one of my favorite Pac songs. Powerful and delivering a great message to stay strong no matter what happens.
7. How Do U Want It- 7/10: Never really was a big fan of this one.
8. So Many Tears- 10/10: Great song.
9. Unconditional Love- 8/10: Didn't really like this one.....
10. Trapped- 8/10: From 2Pacalypse Now, this was Pac's first actual solo
11. Life Goes On- 10/10: Awesome!
12. Hit 'Em Up- 10/10: Before you get all upset that I gave this song a 10, read. Pac had every right to be mad at Biggie, even though I really don't thing Big shot him. Pac thought he did, and if you believe strongly that someone tried to murder you, I think you'd be pretty mad, too. This is one of my favorite diss tracks, but unlike Nas's Ether, it's not lyrically that great. I like it simply for the emotion and charisma Pac shows in the delivery. The outro, though, is uncalled for, and his attack on Mobb Deep for one of their members having Sickle Cell is downright disgusting. I didn't say the man didn't have flaws. The flaws just made him more human, which in turn made him more easy to relate to.
Disc: 2
1. Troublesome 96'- 9/10- Pretty cool.
2. Brenda's Got A Baby- 10/10: My favorite song on 2Pacalypse.
3. I Ain't Mad at Cha - Danny Boy- 10/10: One of my favorite songs on All Eyez, this song really takes a risk with the piano, but it ends up helping the song rather than hurting it.
4. I Get Around- 5/10: Arguably the worst Pac single ever released.
5. Changes- 10/10. Great song!
6. California Love (Original Version)- 10/10. So much better than the remix.
7. Picture Me Rollin'- 8/10. Cool song.
8. How Long Will They Mourn Me?- 10/10: 2 words: Nate Dogg.
9. Toss It Up- 9/10. They only put this on here cuz it disses Dre.
10. Dear Mama- 10/10: I'm a sucker for this one. I feel like hugging my mom every time I hear this song.
11. All About U- 7/10. Just shouldn't be on here. Where's Snoop? Who the f**k is Top Dogg?
12. To Live Die In L.A.- 10/10: Kinda like the sequel to Cali Love.
13. Heartz Of Men- 10/10: Lively, upbeat track.
Pac is arguably the greatest MC of all time, simply for the emotion and charisma he puts in every single song. The new stuff that's coming out is bulls**t. Go buy a copy of this, and keep it with you. This is stuff that years and years later, when you feel down, you listen to Me Against the World and you get back to it. This is stuff that really gives you an insight into the troubled life and times of Tupac Amaru Shakur. This is stuff that you won't forget, no matter what kind of hip-hop fan you are. This is Tupac.
Rest In Peace, 1971-1996. Tupac Amaru Shakur.
Makaveli 4 Life! 2pac is and will always be one of hip hops best rappers in history (except Notorious B.I.G and Mac Dre). 2pac is not fake in any type of way compared to todays hip hop artists. Examples people like Bow Wow and Nelly may get the ladies but they are not fo real rappers, Bow Wow is tryin to act all hard jus cuz he is engaged and he is rich, and Nelly just has a cute lookin face and body but thats bout it. Also rappers like 50 cent who was often resembled to 2pac is also bulls***, 50 got rich and stopped tryin he lossed all of his street credibility and even his old hood don't give him respect. 2pac is a real rapper 4 real, he talks about controversy with politics and family affairs, he appreciates his family, he doesn't turn his back on his neighborhood and his rhyme actually makes sense. And anybody who thinks that 2pac sucks is extremly white and gay, if he were still alive he would put all of the rappers on map.
Top Songs on disc 1
1)Keep Your Head Up-An extremly strong song and should be the anthem when someone dies. The most lyrical song and soulful song.
2)2 of Americaz Most Wanted- A gangsta track feat. Snoop Dogg a good song 2 lay back to.
3)How Do You Want ItA little soft for 2pac but still has a good beat and still incredibale lyrics.

Top Songs on disc 2
1)Troublesome 96'- The last song he did before he died an unreleased song.
2)I Ain't Mad At Cha- A real good song basically based on forgiveness cuz that is exactly how 2pac is.
3)I Get Around- a crazy ass song its so funny and its so Relaxin to play, should be played at parties.
4)Dear Mama- The best song that 2pac has ever doned and is the best song of the 90's
Every song is good so just buy it a listen to it for yourself. 2pac forever if you love tupac's music as much as i do then you should most definently check out this cd. it isnt called his greatest hits for nothing.it is a bunch of his greatest songs ever recorded all on the same cd. you have his fight song hit em' up and then you have his slower more touching song dear mama. and a whole bunch of songs in between. so if you are just looking for a demo of what tupac's music is all about or your just a die hard fan then i would highly recomend this cd

Curtain Call - The Hits [2CD deluxe edition]
Curtain Call - The Hits [2CD deluxe edition]
Curtain Call - The Hits [2CD deluxe edition] Artist: Eminem (Usually ships in 1 to 2 weeks) Click Here for more information Eminem's four studio albums shattered so many sales records that you might think just about every man, woman and gerbil on the planet already owns a bulk of the songs that make up this greatest hits collection. But Curtain Call presents the perfect opportunity to have another look at the life of Marshall Mathers. Starting out in the vein of the Beastie Boys and Slick Rick, he grafted filthy verses over bubbly nursery rhyme melodies and primitive Casio beats to come up with comical singles like "My Name Is" and "Real Slim Shady." Then angst and reflection set in, resulting in rare moments of vulnerability ("Lose Yourself") and a richer musical experience ("Stan"). The three new tracks reflect the entire spectrum, with "When I'm Gone," a bittersweet goodbye letter, signaling the raw emotion and youthful enthusiasm of his early days have substantially faded, while "Fack" counters that the Detroit rapper still has the dirtiest mouth in the business. --Aidin Vaziri Great collection of Eminem's songs I personally think that he should have replaced some songs (Just Lose It, and Fack; basically the songs were he acts stupid). He did choose great songs except for those though. The new songs except Fack. This CD is almost just his songs that he released as singles, but I still thunk he missed some like: Criminal, 'Till I Collapse, Superman, Say What You Say, Spend Some Time. He just have put some of those, but the CD is still good. The bonus CD is great, the songs are sick. If your an Eminem fan, buy this, basically for the new songs and the bonus CD, and the fact that he assembled some of his best music on one CD. I recommend it, 4/5 stars. It would have been a 5 if "Fack" wasnt on it Okay, i love most of the songs on it and I love em, but Fack just is terrible, it's the worst song I've ever heard before. I recommend just buying all 4 of his CDs (Contain most of these songs), downloading "When I'm Gone", buying The Blueprint (Which has an ill song from Curtain Call, "Renagade", and is just a great album). cool dude... I always consider him as a fairly talented dude!!! One of my favourite rapper. If you like Eminem, this one of the album you don't want to miss.

Lucky 7!
Lucky 7!
Lucky 7! I definitely have not regretted my decision at all. "California Girl" is the obvious single, but I also really like the song "Runaway". This CD might take a few run-throughs to really grow on you, but give it a chance and you WILL NOT be disappointed!
